ALARES staff have over 20 years experience designing and
installing energy conservation measures with specific expertise
with automatic energy control systems; HVAC systems; lighting
fixtures; and energy recovery systems.
In the performance of these services, ALARES relies on its
existing resources, including LEED and CEM certified
professionals, certified geothermal HVAC and heat pump
designers and installers, and other staff with the relevant
experience in the application of ECMs.
Our investigations include a review energy consumption history
and facility inspections to produce a breakdown of where energy
is going and which systems present the best opportunities to
save.
We provide a detailed energy analysis of a particular system or
application, an improvement savings estimate, and associated
implementation costs for determining the potential Return on
Investment (ROI). We perform energy modeling simulations
using the eQUEST® /DOE2.2 program for evaluating proposed
design building energy use and comparison with baseline
budget ASHRAE-90.1 model.
